Under The Skin by Michael Faber

A really odd short book that Jack loaned me. One in which, like Watership Down, Humans are the Other Species. Humans are called Vodsels. It only took a few hours to read, and I thoroughly enjoyed its creepiness. I won't say more because the whole point of it is that when you start reading it you have no idea what it's about. I will say that the wikipedia review of it says it involves extraterrestrials, and that's not correct. It starts out with a big-boobed woman driving around Scotland looking for large well-muscled male hitchhikers, and goes on from there into Weirdness.
